Project Overview

This Coachella, CA cannabis autoflower project uses 22 ft wide hoop houses across an 11-acre project site. Each tunnel is 200 ft long and organized with three bed rows over black/white bed mulch.

The project uses 30 ft wide, 5-layer co-extruded hoop-house plastic film supplied from 30 ft wide master rolls. The film includes infrared, anti-condensation, anti-dust, 85% light transmission, and 65% diffusion properties to support light management and crop protection inside the structure.

The 30 ft arches were mechanically bent by Ferrari Metals, Inc., helping match the greenhouse structure to the plastic coverage requirements.

Why This Setup Works

Desert Climate Coverage

The hoop-house film helps protect crop rows from wind, dust, and harsh sun exposure in the Coachella growing environment.

Three-Bed Layout

The 3-bed layout organizes the crop inside each 22 ft wide hoop house while keeping access through the tunnel.

Film Performance

The 5-layer co-extruded film includes infrared, anti-condensation, anti-dust, 85% light transmission, and 65% diffusion properties.

Custom-Bent Arches

The 30 ft arches were mechanically bent by Ferrari Metals, Inc. to match the hoop-house structure and film requirements.
