Project Overview

This Xishuangbanna, Yunnan substrate raspberry project uses 27 ft wide hoop houses across a 321-acre project site. The layout includes three bed rows inside the structures for organized crop production and access.

The project uses 32 ft wide, 5-layer co-extruded hoop-house plastic film. The film includes infrared, anti-condensation, anti-dust, 85% light transmission, and 65% diffusion properties to support light management and crop protection inside the hoop houses.

The 33 ft arches were mechanically bent by Ferrari Metals, Inc., helping match the greenhouse structure to the plastic coverage requirements.

Why This Setup Works

Large-Scale Site

The 321-acre site uses repeating hoop-house rows to support a large substrate raspberry operation.

Substrate Row Layout

The 3-bed layout organizes the raspberry crop inside each hoop house while maintaining access through the structure.

Film Performance

The 5-layer co-extruded film includes infrared, anti-condensation, anti-dust, 85% light transmission, and 65% diffusion properties.

Custom-Bent Arches

The 33 ft arches were mechanically bent by Ferrari Metals, Inc. to match the hoop-house structure and film requirements.
