Infrared additives for heat retention
This film includes IR additives that help reduce heat loss at night. In heated or temperature-sensitive operations, that can help smooth out overnight temperature swings and support a more stable growing environment.
65–70% light diffusion with 85% transmission
The film is designed to spread light more evenly across the crop while still keeping total light transmission high. That balance helps reduce harsh hotspots and supports more uniform plant growth.
6 mil film for larger commercial installs
This is a full master-roll product intended for larger hoop house operations, not a general cover for every greenhouse customer. It is a better fit for farms that need full-roll coverage and have the handling equipment to move larger rolls.
Built for FL & CA light conditions
This formulation is aimed at the stronger light intensity common in Florida and California. It is a practical option for growers who want a diffused thermic cover with strong light performance and full-roll sizing.

Master roll handling and installation
These full rolls need a little more planning than cut-to-length covers. Make sure the crew, lifting equipment, frame prep, and install day are right before you start.
Before you start:
- Store the roll horizontally, in its original packaging, in a cool shaded area until install.
- Never drag across the ground. Use a forklift or shipping damage before unwrapping.
- Install on mild days, ideally 50–77 °F (10–25 °C).
- Have enough hands on site — full master rolls can weigh around 2,000 lbs.
- Make sure the frame is clean, smooth, rust-free, and preferably painted white or silver to reduce heat.
During installation:
- Do not unroll and unfold the film at the same time. Unroll the full smashed-out width first.
- Tension the film evenly, but not too tight. Flapping shortens film life, but over-tensioning can cause tears in cold weather.
- Use anti-abrasion tape on all metal contact points, and re-check them regularly.
- Inspect frequently — small punctures grow through the conditions. A timely repair, webber spanning is asking for trouble.
- Do not use sharp clamps or wire directly on the film — always cushion the contact so the film stays properly tensioned.
Chemicals and follow-up care:
- Avoid direct contact with pesticides, fungicides, sulfur, hangers, and PVC accessories.
- Ventilate well after chemical applications and avoid direct contact.
- Holes or tears can be fixed right away with greenhouse film repair tape and PVC tape.
- Re-attach the film between seasons or after strong winds if it starts to loosen.
